Interprofessional Education for the Health Sciences (IPEHS)

The mission of USC Interprofessional Education for the Health Sciences (IPEHS) is to be leaders in preparing health professionals skilled in effective interprofessional practice through synergistic educational and experiential activities that enhance the interprofessional learning of students in the health sciences at the University of South Carolina to improve the health and quality of care for the diverse populations we serve. IPEHS education is guided by the Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC) core competencies.

IPE Educational Events Fall 2026

Join us for interprofessional educational events this Fall hosted by the USC student organization IHI Open School and the SC AHEC student sessions Institute for Primary Care. (Dates and topics to be announced) Once registration for each event opens, you will need to RSVP for each event.

For virtual events, we ask that you log in at least 5 – 10 minutes early to ensure that your audio and video connections are working properly.  Your participation is required during the seminar and any associated breakout sessions with cameras on. You must stay engaged for the entire event to receive credit for attending. You will be asked to participate in interactive discussions.
