Following approval of new unit promotional criteria including the Teaching Professor title series and the second promotional step of Principal Instructor or Principal Lecturer titles, some professional-track faculty may be eligible to request to transfer from one title series to another. Such transfers may only occur within units whose new professional-track faculty promotion criteria and procedures have been fully approved through academic channels by the University Committee on Professional-Track Faculty.
