Background

Aaron Mora is an assistant professor of finance at the Darla Moore School of Business. He holds a Ph.D in Economics and a Masters in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, a Masters in Economic Theory and Econometrics from the Toulouse School of Economics, a BSc in Pure Mathematics, a BSc in Actuarial Science, and a BA in Economics from the Universidad de Costa Rica.

Mora’s research interests are in Asset Pricing, Econometrics, Machine Learning and Industrial Organization; and is published in the Association of Central Banks of Latin America and the Caribbean (CEMLA). He most recently taught Macroeconomics and Econometrics while at the University of Pennsylvania. Mora is a big soccer fan and in his spare time he likes to exercise and hike.
