Marion is a second-year master's student studying Public History at the University of South Carolina. Their research centers on the domestic slave trade and geographies of the Antebellum South.  Deeply committed to Black studies, Marion continuously seeks new ways museums and the digital humanities can share the imaginative power of Black history. During their time at South Carolina, Marion completed the Adrienne Arsht Internship at The Metropolitan Museum of Art and received the R. Means Davis Fellowship for Research in Southern History.
