Governor Henry McMaster signed a proclamation designating May 4-10, 2025 as South
Carolina Public Servant Recognition Week. Below are state disounts that employees can take advantage of:

State Discounts
Patriots Point will offer half price admission (normally $28) for SC employees with
a valid ID the week of May 4-10, 2025.
The State House Gift Shop will offer a 30% discount during a storewide sale from April
28-May 10, 2025. (This excludes State Park Passports.)
A discount at the South Carolina State Museum’s Cotton Mill Exchange. (South Carolina
State employees with a valid ID will receive a 10% discount. State employees who are
SC State Museum members will receive a 20% discount).

USC Columbia launches new telecommuting guidelines
With a greater emphasis on a vibrant and healthy campus culture that supports our
students and customers, university leaders are requiring a return to campus for many
USC employees beginning July 1, 2025.
